FlareVideo is a project I was hacking on last week – it’s a HTML5 video player with a Flash fallback. You can customize all the controls using CSS and it’s completely free and open source.

looks rad! :) but why didn’t you design your solution to work the other way round?
use HTML5 video when flash is not supported? would make perfect sense to me…
additionally: would be perfect if you could document the required communication between your little flash player and flarevideo.
rock on!

Looks great, but there are a load of issues still – it doesn’t work in XHTML, nor in IE (any version I tried).
Is there any more documentation on using multiple video sources, or how to properly add the flash fallback support?
There is a bit of video resizing issue in Chrome, but looks great in firefox.
